When I first viewed the house I was captivated by the courtyard at the rear, and the history of the house, however having viewed it several times online I was really keen to see the loft. I wasn't disappointed, from the moment I stepped into this beautiful space it was love. I walked around the room and stared at the views of the Lighthouse. I didn't want to leave, I knew I could put my stamp on this house. I love interior design and resorting properties has long been a passion of mine.
It is safe to say I bought the house for the loft!
I knew it would inspire me to write and relax, clients always comment on what a beautiful space it is for therapy.
We all have lofty ideas and ambitions throughout our life, I love to work with people on helping them find their highest and truest self.... from my loft come the lessons. I hope you find interesting ideas here to inspire you.

Thoughts on the Mother Wound
Mother Wound Relationships
Happy Mother's Day ....or not as the case may be. I personally had a tricky relationship with my mum, sadly she is no longer around for me to talk to. In the years since she died, I have gone on a long personal development journey and carved out a new career as a Psychotherapist. If she were here would I talk to her about our relationship? The answer is no. I lived in Birmingham for a while and during Psychotherapy training course, I was on required to attend weekly therapy, it was there that I worked on my mother wound. This little film is funny and sad ...for all of you who had less than perfect relationships with your mothers. Ultimately, I learned and am still learning to mother myself. It's. called self-love and self-care. The child in me that was ignored and emotionally neglected will be getting lots of love today.

One of the most enduring relationships we can have is with our mothers or caregivers. These first and most formative relationships can have a profound and lasting affect on our lives. These relationships can often transcend life. People often tell me they still have conversations with their parents even though they have been long deceased.
If you would like to explore the legacy of your early relationships and how they may be impacting on you now, then therapy is a great place to start. I offer a safe and supportive range of options that allow you to explore the past and how it impacts in the here and now.
Talking helps… where should we begin?
