Sex and the body.

It is a fact, you have a body, its yours for life to live in - yes live in.

We all know about eating good food, ensuring our nutrition is healthy, we are even begining to understand the important role our gut health plays in our physical wellbeing.  Is that it? Perhaps not.  I wanted to go beyond just caring for my body, I wanted to enjoy living in my body.  I just didn't know how.

I work with so many people who live entirely in their heads.  I recognise this immediately as this was how I lived my life for so many years.  In 2010 I had a chance meeting with a Tantra practitioner, this lovely embodied woman seemed to have a way of living that was entirely connected to her body.  I was intrigued and began to explore how Tantra could help me come into a new way of living.

Tantra is a vast and ancient subject, it involves beautiful rituals, practices and techniques in addition to working with sexual energy.  Through this journey I have learnt to live more in line with my life force.  It is a work in progress, and I learn new things all the time. Tantra taught me to begin to listen to the wisdom of my body.  My body speaks so clearly of its sensitivities, fatigues, hungers and desires.

Talking therapy involves us thinking, listening and reflecting, Tantra informs my work in that I will ask the client to check in with their body, listen to rumblings, feel within themselves the tensions, the joys and the pain.

Tantra also awakened me to sacred sexuality.  To sexually express ourselves is our birthright, sadly society, family, peer pressures and negative early sexual experiences can hinder our journey to knowing ourselves as sexual beings.

I work with gender, sexuality, and relationship diverse clients (GSRD).  I create a safe space to talk about the most intimate parts of our life, our loves, and desires.

In recent months I have been working with men who cross dress, therapy is a safe space in which to fully explore all aspects of the self and I am humbled by the men who have come to work with me.

If you have any aspects of your sexuality or sexual expression you wish to explore in therapy then please do call me on: 07799341300.

You have a body it is yours for life, live in it, listen to it and enjoy it.
