About Therapy

When you are feeling anxious, sad, depressed, angry or just simply ‘stuck’ in life it can be difficult to know how to move forward.  Family and friends can be a fantastic source of support however the value of therapy is to allow yourself the gift of time and space to explore your issues with a trained helper.

At Lighthouse Therapy I believe that in order thrive we all need the following three things: to be seen, to be heard, to be loved/valued.

In therapy I will ensure that you have the support and the space to be truly seen, in your vulnerability and in your strength.  I will use my skills to not only listen to you but to really hear with my heart what you are sharing and finally in valuing you and the work we do together I believe that you will feel valued.

From this foundation of being seen, heard and valued I believe you will find the space to grow and understand how to move from being stuck to being free.

What to expect in your first session?

In your first session I will discuss how we can work together.  You may wish to use this session to give me an overview of what has brought you to therapy. I will explain the practicalities such as frequency, availability and payment of fees.

We will discuss the ‘shared agreement’ which details how we will work and how your confidentiality and privacy are protected.

I offer open ended therapy and short-term solution focused therapy.  If you know from the beginning that you want a time limited number of sessions then I can agree a discounted rate if you book in advance.

Fees & Availability

I offer discounts for block bookings of 6 and 12 sessions payable in advance.
Payment can be made by bank transfer, PayPal (credit cards accepted) or cash either on or before each session.
Telephone or Skype appointments are also available on request.

Fees and discounts for packages can be discussed in your first session or contact me for more information.
I have therapy rooms in New Brighton on the Wirral Peninsular and can offer sessions in Liverpool City Centre.

My diary is always booked in advance, if you are thinking about working with me please do call and discuss dates, it can be so frustrating to pluck up the courage to call only to find that available slots don't quite fit with your schedule.  I work a standard working week and can with prior agreement offer Saturday slots.

Please do call, it really does only take one call to get started 07799341300.
